FinXL is a market-leading professional services organisation with more than 1200 consultants deployed on client sites across Australia and New Zealand.

At present, an outstanding opportunity exists for an Agile Transformation Change & Communications Lead to play a crucial role on a large-scale initiative at our client site; a large, well-regarded organisation in the energy sector.

This organisation is looking to significantly transform the way it works, embedding the Agile methodology at every level. It is important that the Agile Change and Communications Lead brings a combination of both Agile and Change Management expertise.

Your key duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:

  • Lead and implement change efforts from initiating the case for change through adoption and reinforcement, supporting the business to take ownership of new changes
  • Help solve for the business use of lean and agile, incorporate lean processes and agile methods (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and best practices as we transform the way we work
  • Create and execute project deliverables including communications plan, change management, agile training plan and materials, delivery toolkits, readiness checklists and adoption plan
  • Support the development of and manage change management and agile measures, outcomes and key results for programs, and execute against the agile transformation plan to capture benefits realization
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with the change network, program teams and stakeholders to ensure an understanding of the change impacts and mitigate risk
  • Provide support and coaching to team members, change agents, business partners and stakeholders as they help their teams through the new ways of working

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience with organizational change management, specifically agile transformations, utilizing change management methodologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, written, and interpersonal skills needed to influence stakeholders across the business
  • Experience with different agile delivery methods e.g SAFe, Scrum and Kanban and developing business agility awareness
  • Experience in lean and driving change across key business processes to support the new ways of working
  • Excellent people-management skills related to impact of change with ability to understand how people react to major change and able to handle appropriately
  • Displays operational excellence by working effectively and reliably while demonstrating value with measurable results
  • Proficient in Jira and Confluence and supporting collaboration tools
  • Relevant certifications in Change (CCMP, Prosci or similar) would be well-regarded
  • Relevant certifications in Agile (Scrum Master or SAFe Agile) would be well-regarded
