At present, an outstanding opportunity exists for a Application Support Specialist to join a high performing team onsite at a highly regarded organisation in the energy sector.

Responsibilities:

* Provide support for multiple applications in Production environment.
* Ensure platform continuity through monitoring, support and optimization.
* Respond to incidents and resolving them within agreed SLAs.
* Be ready to learn new technologies and own multiple applications as the primary SME
* Handle tickets assigned to the team and when necessary escalate and follow-up with development team.
* Participate to the execution and improvement of the Incident and Change Management processes.
* Work on application road map and deliver platform initiatives

Skills:

* Technical experience in following areas Angular, C#, .NET, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, Typescript, Web Services (SOAP and REST)
* Working knowledge of databases like MS SQL Server, Cosmos, Oracle
* Cloud experience in Azure
* Azure DevOps
* GIT
* Technical Experience : Java, NodeJS, UNIX/Linux , Go CD Pipeline
* Agile development methodology
* Good communication skills - verbal & written
* Ability to prioritise and deliver with tight deadlines
* Strong problem solving skills
* Attention to details
* Open to Learn new technologies and grow
