We are seeking a Business & Financial Analyst to join our team who will be working onsite in Melbourne. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy.

About the role:

Successful candidate is responsible for collection, analysis and planning insights to support achievement of project and programme deliverables including documenting scope requirements, financial analysis and insights.

They will work with Cloud Delivery Project Managers, Stream Leads, architecture and project teams to ensure collection and accuracy of information, data is consistent, and that milestones and timelines are achieved.

Core Responsibilities:

The candidate will strengthen the existing team by:

  • Implement process and tools for effective control of data collection touch points across the program
  • Monitor and manage inputs to the application pipeline, benefits, and decom trackers
  • Establish and maintain planning processes to support pipeline and benefits activities over the lifespan of the program
  • Undertake analysis and provide advice on processes to ensure the successful management of agreed projects throughout their life cycle
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, helping to translate IT Platform application requirements in line with agreed program scope
  • Undertake - where relevant detailed financial analysis and preparation of evidence to support Finance endorsement of costs including 'total cost of ownership' modelling against budgets, benefits tracking against project deliverables and options analysis
  • Provide assessment input to support program variation requests (PVRs)

Experience Required:

Proven experience with establishing and analyzing requirements to support foundational cloud capabilities, ideally Azure, including:

  • Solid experience in a BA role, working in a complex IT Services environment
  • Solid experience in financial analysis, including advanced experience with Excel to support project deliverables and benefits collation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create and present outputs to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Good overall understanding of various delivery methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
  • Proven Industry experience in a similar role (minimum 5 + years) and/or
