We are looking for an experienced Network Change Specialist to join our team, Melbourne CBD based. Immediate start!

 

The Network Change Specialist will be responsible for managing changes for networks across all technologies with a primary purpose of providing Network Change Management expertise including:

  • Assisting to ensure all aspects of Network Change Management Policies & Procedures standards are achieved
  • Governing end to end policy compliance of Network Change Requests within the Network
  • Identifying and improving non-compliance to Network Change Management processes
  • Providing assistance and education to users of the Network Change Management Policy and their requirement to adhere to agreed Policy and Procedures
  • Communicate planned outage notifications to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Being a key SME initiative contributor to support and drive process improvement activities within and outside of the team

The role will include extensive service management, stakeholder management and governance over numerous streams of work and coordination of resources to successfully deliver network changes in readiness for scale and promoting positive customer experience.

 

Mandatory

  • Minimum 5 yrs. of experience working in IT Service Management environment.
  • Minimum 3 yrs. of experience working in IT Service Management roles.
  • Minimum 3 yrs. of experience contributing to the Project Delivery lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of Change Management procedures and work practices
  • Experience with telecommunication networks space
  • Demonstrated ability to apply continuous service improvement to the management procedures and work practices ofteams to develop their functional competencies.
  • Demonstrable advanced written / verbal communication skills with applied experience in writing and developing reports in line with customer and stakeholder needs
  • Demonstrable ability to understand technical activities and communicate this information to business stakeholders and external customers
  • Demonstrable ability to govern process compliance in line with stakeholder needs
