FinXL IT is partnering with a leading Financial Services group to support a major strategic initiative: the uplift and modernisation of their Wealth Central Platform. This 12 months+ engagement offers the opportunity to build foundational, industry-leading capabilities in financial advice technology, including the integration of cutting-edge AI tools like Claude and Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Squad Leadership: Lead the day-to-day delivery of cross-functional squads (Dev, BA, QA) using Agile and hybrid methodologies.

• Execution & Velocity: Drive sprint planning and technical governance to ensure the squad maintains high delivery velocity without compromising quality.

• Technical Unblocking: Act as the primary point of contact for technical blockers, partnering with architects to ensure smooth engineering workflows.

• Dependency Management: Manage complex technical dependencies across CRM and Wealth Central layers within a large-scale enterprise environment.

• Project Governance: Oversee project tracking, financials, and documentation via Jira and Confluence.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, ensuring robust resolution and stakeholder alignment.

• Capability Uplift: Facilitate knowledge transfer and capability uplift for internal teams throughout the programme lifecycle.

Requirements

Essential:

• A highly technical Delivery Lead on large, complex, multi-year programmes, ideally in wealth management, financial advice or para-planning.

• Deep experience in hands-on squad management and delivery governance frameworks.

• Expert-level experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking and reporting.

• Strong ability to manage complex integration dependencies in large enterprise settings.

• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on risk mitigation and team unblocking.
