Role Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will consist of but is not limited to:

• Provide engineering capability through the execution of the engineering lifecycle to enable exercise system design and delivery
• Elicit customer requirements, analyse, develop and manage within approved management tool
• Lead delivery of engineering outcomes to achieve exercise delivery milestones
• Ensures E&T functional stakeholder engagement in program oversight and cost estimating review/approvals
• Ensure the Engineering Management System (EMS) is mature and relevant processes and procedures are adequately documented and compliant to customer or company specified regulatory requirements
• Support Integrated Product teams in the delivery of design, implementation, and verification activities

Skills & Experience

• Hold tertiary engineering qualifications, ideally Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics and Software
• Demonstrated experience multi-discipline engineering development programs
• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering life cycle from requirements elicitation through to verification and validation
• Previous product lifecycle management, will be highly desirable
• Prior design authority within a Defence technical regulatory framework will be highly advantageous
• Must hold a defence security clearance of NV1 or NV1. Baseline will be considered on experience
