Summary:

A federal government client has a requirement for a Full Stack .Net Developer to work within a multi-discipline delivery team, following agile principles to develop IT systems supporting business. Positions are based in Canberra, however flexible working arrangements are supported by the Department while COVID restrictions or staged return to workplace conditions are in place, but under normal circumstances this role is expected to be undertaken 3 days per week face to face in the office.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Develop web applications with modern reactive JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and CSS
  • Design, build and test web applications across the full development stack, using technologies including C#, MVC, Vue and TypeScript.Vue.js
  • Work with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to translate user stories into technical designs for implementation and deployment
  • Plan, document, and manage deliverables (tasks and stories in DevOps) assigned to you.

The successful applicant would be required to have:

  • Experience in HTML5 and CSS development to build attractive, functional, and dynamic pages using modern techniques.
  • Skills and experience building modern web applications using enterprise integration platforms such as Vue.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • 5+ Years development experience in C# .NET for web, including ASP.NET and .NET Core.
  • Sound abilities in the use of Figma, Miro and other UX related design tools.
  • Knowledge of current UX principles, standards, and technologies, including for inclusive practice and including designing for accessibility.
  • .Net 5.0+ and Core Framework
  • Visual Studio 2019+, SQL Management Studio
  • Solutions Architecture and Technical Design and Documentation
  • Simple Database Design and Maintenance
  • Tertiary qualifications in software design and development
