IT Manager

One of Australia's fastest growing interior design companies is seeking the talents of an IT Manager to join their team.

With a strong grounding in Desktop Support, the ideal candidate will be someone who already has some leadership (or 2IC experience) but aspires to step up into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure regular checks on network and data security are executed and any problems are resolved
  • Manage the company's cyber security risk
  • Lead a small IT Team
  • Providing exemplary customer service to internal customers
  • Working with Business Consultants to design and implement an IT and system's strategic plan and road map
  • Formulise IT induction process for new starters
  • Undertake a review of Company hardware infrastructure and system's network

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience within the IT environment with relevant industry experience
  • Some experience in managing or leading a small team
  • Experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), Jet Analytics (data warehouse and reporting cubes), Phocas (budgeting solution) is advantageous but not mandatory
