FinXL is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a key transformation engagement. this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to gain invaluable experience with one of Australia's largest financial institutions. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing project and release lifecycles.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple technical and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with tracking project budgets, including invoicing and monthly accruals.
  • Maintain project risk and issue logs, ensuring timely escalation and follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like PowerBI.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports and meeting documentation.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Recently completed or currently enrolled in a relevant IT university degree.
  • 1-2 years' experience in project coordination, PMO support, or junior project management.
  • Experience using ServiceNow / PowerBI / Python is highly regarded.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and a proactive mindset.
