FinXL IT is seeking a Network Test Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a key transformation engagement.
Responsibilities
- Review network configuration outputs to confirm correctness
- Validate connectivity including interfaces and basic packet checks
- Identify issues and raise formal defects with clear evidence
- Capture screenshots, configuration extracts, and logs in QMetry
- Liaise between Test teams and Project Network Engineers
- Support migration test windows and large-scale network migrations
- Provide independent validation of connectivity during cutovers
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on testing & assurance
- Exposure to Cisco environments and ACI familiarity
- Strong network fundamentals (CCNA-level or equivalent)
- Experience reviewing configurations and connectivity outcomes
- Detail-oriented approach to capturing evidence and test results
- Strong written communication skills for defect reporting
- Previous experience with enterprise migrations or cutovers
What's On Offer?
- Initial 6 months' contract
- Located in Norwest Business Park
- Hybrid-full time working arrangement (3-5 days per week in the office with occasional weekend support (paid))
