Great 2 year plus contract working for large government department based in Parramatta. Primarily office based, working standard hours.

You will provide technical assistance, information and support to users to solve reported issues, manage general issues and prepare summary reports for the management, monitoring and operations of ICT communications and security.

Key Accountabilities;
* Provide operational support for the data communications network and its users and solve non-complex problems to minimise system down-time and loss of productivity.
* You will provide first point networking support for; Desk phones, Connectivity, Teleconference support, Troubleshooting connectivity issues, Liaise with vendors such as Telstra, TPG or Optus, Hardware fails and Cabling
* Implement standard set up activity for network, audio visual equipment and other ICT systems
* Monitor and analyse network performance of existing and new systems

The key skills and experience required are;
Experience in a similar role providing first point network support on Cisco devices, networking, phones, switches/routers, teleconferencing.
