FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.

We are looking for non-functional testers (multiple roles – see below for more details), to be part of a testing project to work from our client site. Our client is one of the Queensland Government Departments.

This is an initial 4 to 6 months project and therefore the contract will be line with the project timelines.

It is a Brisbane CBD based work location with an excellent rate to offer!

(A) Performance, Load, Stress, Usability and Localisation Testers

No. of Roles: 2

The ideal candidate will possess the following demonstrable testing experience and skills in

·         Testing the performance of the new system against the existing system

·         Measuring and reporting results of response time

·         Concurrent user load testing

·         Stress testing the new system/application/DB/hardware

·         Capturing breaking points, safe usage limits, modes of failure

·         Stress testing to determine stable operation of system outside standard usage

·         Usability testing of web portals to be in line with the accessibility regulations

·         Usability testing of User Interface elements, including menus, links etc.

·         Localisation testing of Software to comply with Australian terminology, structure, spelling, date formats etc.


(B) Compatibility Testers

No. of Roles: 1

The ideal candidate will possess the following demonstrable testing experience and skills in

·         Testing the compatibility of the software with

o    The requirements of existing SOE

o    Wide range of desktop types

o    Web browsers, mobile browsers and various versions of the browsers

o    Documentation generated from the system support the defined formats


In addition, you will be

ü  Having significant experience in non-functional testing practices, creating test cases, prepare & document test results and present the test results

ü  Available to start from second week of March’19

ü  Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident/Hold Relevant Work Permit

ü  Consent to undertake relevant background verifications and police clearance checks

ü  A great team player

ü  Good communication skills
