The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager for a 6-month contract to lead a critical Data Remediation Program within a high-profile enterprise environment.

This role requires a proven leader with exceptional stakeholder management skills to oversee and drive multiple concurrent streams of work focused on enhancing data quality, governance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Take ownership of the end-to-end Data Remediation Program, ensuring objectives are met across quality, scope, timeline, and budget.

• Stream Management: Drive multiple complex, interdependent workstreams (e.g., data cleansing, platform implementation, governance uplift) simultaneously.

• Stakeholder Management: Manage complex relationships with executive stakeholders, project sponsors, technical teams, and internal governance forums to maintain alignment and secure required decisions.

• Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain robust program governance, developing clear, evidence-based reports (status, risk, finance) for executive and Steering Committee review.

• Remediation Strategy: Apply deep experience in data quality or data governance to oversee the execution of remediation strategies, ensuring sustainable improvements to the organization's data assets.

• Risk & Issue Control: Proactively identify and manage program-level risks, issues, and dependencies across all streams, escalating critical items to leadership for timely resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

• Significant experience (8+ years in program/senior project management) with a strong track record specifically driving Data Remediation, Data Quality, or Data Governance programs.

• Exceptional ability to manage multiple streams of work and complexity in a high-profile, regulated environment.

• Outstanding executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to influence decisions.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality frameworks.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
