Job Description
The Client
Our client is a growing ASX listed retail company with over 200 stores across Australia and New Zealand. They are currently undergoing a technology transformation program, implementing a number of cutting edge solutions across the enterprise. To assist in the delivery of a key supply chain program, they now require an IT Project Manager with logistics and supply chain experience.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst to support a team of Project Managers in a retail company with the following: defining and updating the project management processes, standards and governance; assisting in strategic planning and budgeting processes; assisting Project Managers on major projects; and Project Managing minor projects where required.
This role will include but is not limited to:
- Provide end-to-end PMO coordination, support and advisory services to all projects
- Ensure adherence to the project methodology, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project portfolio deliverables
- Portfolio optimisation in terms of strategic alignment vs cost and resource constraints and BAU priorities
- Project support and management where required, ensuring project plans and project documentation are complete and up-to-date and providing regular project status updates
- Facilitating governance and portfolio meetings
Key Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of portfolio, program and project management
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile execution methodologies
- Experience with project management systems, tools and processes and how these are practically used in a PMO
- Experience developing and maintaining project portfolio reporting including prioritisation and optimisation of projects
- Strong communication skills
