The role
The successful candidate will be an Agile practitioner who has led complex technical projects. They are a high achiever in terms of team leadership, technical capability and project milestones. You will be someone who enjoys solving problems, coaching others, manage dependencies across squads and remove roadblocks to drive outcomes.
The requirements
- Accountable for driving the strategic, execution of the Agile based Functional and Technical Delivery
- Responsible for the creation and management of Release Train and Backlog Management
- Responsible for the integration of Agile Methodologies and Waterfall and alignment to Releases
- Work with Program Leaders and key executive stakeholders to drive ongoing clarity of strategy, decisions, and execution alignment.
- Drive visibility and transparency of dates, milestones, and dependencies throughout the PI Process.
- Escalate and track impediments. Removes bottlenecks where the teams cannot do it themselves
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
- Foster constructive and pro-active communication across organizational boundaries to ensure PI goals and priorities, key decisions, and status is clear to all.
- Be an advocate and educator within SAFE/Agile/Waterfall best practices.
- Assess skill sets to coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Agile practices and mindsets in planning, execution, and launch.
- Optimize PI Planning readiness by fostering preparation of Vision, Backlogs, and Ideation processes.
- Facilitate synchronization meetings such as mid-PI assessments or Scrum of Scrum meetings.
- Drive Teams to continuously improve through the facilitation of Retrospectives Excellent communication skills.
