We are looking for Senior Consultant Engineering II - Desktop as part of a highly skilled team of consultants working in our Tier 1 Client in Melbourne CBD.
You will be assigned in to one of our clients many project portfolios encompassing digital initiatives and revolutionary payment systems. You will likely be exposed to many up to date technologies which you can built on to your current development skills sets and experience.
This role will be within our enterprise client’s IT Digital Services projects developing digital customer UI, business systems and applications.
Provide technical subject matter experts (SMEs); Senior Consultant Engineering II – Desktop that have previous O365 Migration experience.
The technical SME will work at the direction of the O365 Exchange Online Project Manager and the O365 Technical Service Owner to support delivery of the project and business as usual support activities.
Complete all required compliance training as and when required
Activities to be undertaken include but not limited to the following:
Deploying O365 ProPlus software and associated software (OneDrive Client) to end users and resolving any software installation issues that arise. Deployments will be based on agreed deployment schedule.
Completing all pre-deployment checks and O365 mailbox pre-migration and home drive migration activities to ensure successful software deployments and mailbox /home drive migrations to O365.
Migrating end user mailboxes from on premise Exchange 2010 to Microsoft’s O365 Exchange Online platform and resolving any migrations issues that arise. Migrations will be based on agreed migration schedule.
Migrating end user home drive data to Microsoft’s O365 OneDrive platform and resolving any migrations issues that arise.
Actively acquire required knowledge of workplace environment to enable performance of items above
Tracking and validating successful software deployments and O365 mailbox and home drive migrations
Completing all post-O365 migration activities as required
Provide level 2 support for Email and Collaboration Service and / or level 2 support for client’s Desktop Service as required
Produce regular program status reporting on above activities as required.
