FinXL is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a key transformation engagement.

FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Responsibilities

• Design and build future-proof systems for a new digital transformation platform.

• Work on a greenfields project, contributing to the full development lifecycle.

• Mentor and share knowledge with the team to foster a collaborative environment.

• Utilise automated testing and best practices to ensure high-quality delivery.

• Contribute to architectural and solution design discussions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.

• Drive the adoption of modern technologies and tools.

Key Skills & Experience

• L5 level seniority with experience in building new platforms.

• Strong AWS cloud specialisation.

• Well-rounded full-stack experience, with a focus on core Java.

• Proficiency with Spring Boot, microservices, and micro front-end architecture.

• Experience with container and cloud computing.

• Knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with SDLC tools like Jira and observability tools like Grafana.
