We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our collaborative Defence team in a period of high growth. This is an opportunity for you to play a pivotal role within the company as we rapidly grow our Defence capability across the nation.
What can you expect as the Talent Acquisition Specialist - Defence
Based in Sydney and due to continued success and trust. The Talent Acquisition Specialist - Defence, will play a pivotal role within Defence business. The focus of this role, will be to work in collaboration with our Defence Business Development Managers; and provide ongoing support to our clients and partners.
You will act as a trusted talent advisor, driving and generating multiple talent pipelines via targeted market mapping and sourcing strategies; all whilst providing a high quality candidate experience.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing multiple positions, including advertising positions, shortlisting, candidate management, stakeholder engagement and pre-employment compliance
- Ensuring advertisements and sourcing channels are effectively optimised for maximum return and are aligned to Finite's values
- Creating a positive candidate experience throughout all recruitment steps.
- Undertaking related administrative tasks including establishing and maintaining relevant recruitment records and statistics, advising unsuccessful applicants, etc. Position requirements
- Strong proactive sourcing skills (LinkedIn, CRM, etc.)
- Ability to manage a high volume of roles and prioritise effectively
Attributes & Experience
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to network, negotiate and work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders
- Strong proactive sourcing skills (LinkedIn, CRM, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to challenge and influence key business stakeholders and processes to drive the best possible outcome for the organisation
- Previous experience working in an end-to-end recruitment environment will be highly desirable, ideally gained within the Defence, Engineering, Technology or a Technical sector
