Technical Project Manager (Network Transformation)

FinXL is seeking a high-energy, driven Technical Project Manager to lead a global network transformation initiative for a major logistics leader. This role acts as the primary internal representative, managing a multi-vendor environment to ensure the successful collapse and upgrade of a global EDGE environment.

The Role

As the Technical Project Manager, you will be the technical front for global Proof of Concepts (POCs) and large-scale site migrations. You will not be doing the "heavy lifting"-our strategic vendors handle execution-but you will represent the company's interests, ensuring vendors meet delivery milestones and lifecycle management targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Branch SD-WAN Transformation: Lead the transformation of branch networks, moving away from legacy SD-WAN routers and Checkpoint firewalls toward a modernized environment.

• Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for major vendors, holding them accountable for performance and delivery.

• Deployment Planning: Coordinate extensive site migrations, including direct communication with global sites to explain deployment schedules and requirements.

• Lifecycle & Decommissioning: Oversee the decommissioning of end-of-life routers and firewalls while managing the multi-year program lifecycle.

• Carriage & Cutover: Manage complex carriage and cutover work, ensuring minimal disruption to global operations.

• Reporting & Communication: Provide high-level technical leadership and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring absolute clarity on project progress and risks.

About You

• Transformation Expert: You have a strong track record of success in large, complex organizations, specifically leading branch SD-WAN transformations and site migrations.

• Technical Gravitas: While Zscaler experience is highly regarded, your ability to lead technical teams and manage managed service partners is what truly matters.

• Logistics & Comms Pro: You understand that communication is crucial-you are comfortable calling sites, coordinating deployments, and "bringing people together" to drive results.

• Driven Leader: You are firm but agreeable, possessing the energy and enthusiasm to drive a multi-year global program.

• Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure is required (AWS exposure is a plus).
