The role

Seeking a Test Lead who can work independently and with technical resources and business stakeholders to execute test on internal systems using own in-depth technical analysis of specifications

• Contribute to test estimation, track work against estimates, report variances to team management
• Demonstrate extensive analytical skills to identity critical integration points, inconsistencies, ambiguity and gaps in functional requirements
• Work within an Agile iterative development framework
• Work closely with members of their Agile team to understand the functionality under test
• Ensure that all areas of testing are managed and delivered to a professional standard
• Manage the testing lifecycle end to end
• Create test data in the Organisation environment
• Undertake Defect Management by managing the retesting of defects through to correction and acceptance
• Develop and maintain automated tests
• All other tasks as directed by the Project Manager

The requirements

• Self-starter with great attention to attention to detail and has a passion for quality and testing best practice
• Knowledge on database management tools and experience in writing complex database queries
• Demonstrated well-developed testing skills, including the ability to write, review and execute complex manual and automated test cases
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with business areas and IT Branch staff as required
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary Agile team environment
• Ability to manage completing priorities across multiple projects
• Experience in Test management tools such as JIRA
• Experience in working on Agile testing environments
• Experience in cross browser testing and automation test
