Stepping Up the Pace: Finite Group Runs City2Surf 2023 with Record Fundraising
The commitment of the Finite Group to endorse noble causes remains unwavering. This year saw a bigger team of seven runners participating in the iconic Sydney City2Surf. They went above and beyond, raising an impressive $5,022 for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, a significant organisation dedicated to offering vital services to individuals of all ages across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory who are blind or have low vision.
Drawing from past runs and an ever-burning passion, Finite Group took to this year's City2Surf with renewed drive. Among the standouts was Carlisle Knipe, who raced to the finish line in an impressive 57.21 minutes, setting a new benchmark for the Finite team. To set the stage, this year's race victor came in at 41:30. Each member of our team showed up and showed out, achieving personal bests across the board.
Finite Group's General Manager Sean Duffy expressed, "This year witnessed even more determination and passion from our team. Raising over $5,000 from just seven participants is a testament to their dedication and the incredible support we received. Participating in the world's largest fun run, powered by generous donations from colleagues, friends, family, and partners, is truly an exceptional experience. The enthusiasm radiating from the vibrant Sydney eastern suburbs route, filled with bands, DJs, and spirited supporters, was infectious. Furthermore, our chosen charity continues to resonate with many, fostering a strong bond between our team and our magnanimous supporters."
A notable mention: Finite Group's cumulative contribution to Guide Dogs NSW/ACT now stands at an impressive total of over $22,000!
