The Role

FinXL is looking for an AWS Engineer with NV1 clearance for a 12+ months contract with a telco client in Macquarie Park, NSW. This role will be working on diverse projects with government clients

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and and improve AWS based infrastructure with focus on performance, security and scalability.
• Configure, release, and monitor infrastructure using AWS native services.
• Implement and maintain logging, metrics, and monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues across cloud environments.
• Ensure systems undergo thorough testing and meet quality benchmarks before deployment.
• Enhance system security by applying cloud security best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders of different levels.

Skills and Experience

• Expertise in AWS including deployment, configuration and management.
• Practical experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience in automation.
• AWS certifications preferred.
• Confident communicator and stakeholder management skills.
• Security clearance (NV1 or higher) required.
