FinXL is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery of critical platform capabilities using AWS and Kubernetes
• Foster collaboration and ensure platform stability for a broad range of data use cases
• Enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring practices
• Champion security, compliance, and risk management across the platform
• Adopt a proactive approach to production stability, cost management, and platform improvements

Key Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of enterprise experience as a Cloud / DevOps / Data Engineer
• Expertise in AWS cloud platforms and technologies (including Redshift or Glue) and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Big Data processing technologies (e.g., Hive, Spark, Starburst Presto)
• Strong scripting skills including Python and Bash
• Deep architectural and design pattern experience
• Proven ability to build consensus and drive technical decisions
