Job description

FinXL is on the lookout for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes) to join our dynamic team and contribute to a significant data migration project at a leading banking client in the heart of Sydney CBD.

Responsibilities

  • Architecting and deploying resilient, high-availability infrastructures leveraging the power of Kubernetes and a suite of cutting-edge DevOps tools.
  • Designing and implementing zero-downtime deployment strategies and significantly enhancing our CI/CD pipelines to guarantee smooth and consistent integration and delivery for our diverse user base and applications.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of our monitoring systems and processes, enabling proactive performance management, swift bottleneck identification, and continuous optimization for peak efficiency and unwavering reliability.

Skills and experience

  • Expertise with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps practices and tools including Bamboo, Jenkins, Gitlab, CI/CD, Ansible, Teraform, etc.
  • Understanding of AWS IaaS, CaaS, PaaS.
  • In-depth command of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Powershell.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration.
