.NET Developer
Summary:
We are Seeking multiple .Net Developers to work with our Government client (Citizenship Required) in Sydney or Melbourne on a contractual basis, this is an initial 12 month contract open to extension looking for both Mid-Level and Senior technical skill sets.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing digital applications which are built on .NET technologies.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET applications for various projects and enhancements.
- Provide systems analysis, technical recommendations and inputs to project planning, business requirements and solution designs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, development best practices and guidelines.
- Ensure that the services delivered are aligned with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.
- Ensuring that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.
- Improving systems/services to ensure user requirements and business objectives are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Provide advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to support staff as required.
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience working with Microsoft .NET stack, such as C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Web APIs.
- Experience in front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript Framework such as React/Angular, is an advantage.
- Experience with REST/JSON based web services.
- Experience with SQL queries and performance tuning.
- Experience in performing code reviews and ensuring code quality.
- Working knowledge of the Agile methodology and agile development, including the use of agile management tools such as TFS, GIT, JIRA.
- Experience using CICD/DevOps, continuous integration, automated unit testing.
- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in a
- collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills with internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
