.NET Developer

Summary:

We are Seeking multiple .Net Developers to work with our Government client (Citizenship Required) in Sydney or Melbourne on a contractual basis, this is an initial 12 month contract open to extension looking for both Mid-Level and Senior technical skill sets.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing digital applications which are built on .NET technologies.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET applications for various projects and enhancements.
• Provide systems analysis, technical recommendations and inputs to project planning, business requirements and solution designs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, development best practices and guidelines.
• Ensure that the services delivered are aligned with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.
• Ensuring that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.
• Improving systems/services to ensure user requirements and business objectives are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Provide advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to support staff as required.

Qualifications and experience:

• Experience working with Microsoft .NET stack, such as C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Web APIs.
• Experience in front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript Framework such as React/Angular, is an advantage.
• Experience with REST/JSON based web services.
• Experience with SQL queries and performance tuning.
• Experience in performing code reviews and ensuring code quality.
• Working knowledge of the Agile methodology and agile development, including the use of agile management tools such as TFS, GIT, JIRA.
• Experience using CICD/DevOps, continuous integration, automated unit testing.
• Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in a
• collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills with internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
