FinXL is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Health client on a key transformation engagement. This is an onsite role requiring you to work 5 days per week (Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours within an 8am-6pm window) across their (Sydney) Eastern and Western Suburb sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Level 2/3 escalation point for the Service Desk

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues

• Fulfil service requests for new hardware, software, and peripheral setups

• Deploy, configure, and install new desktops, laptops, and workstations (WOWs)

• Perform break/fix hardware support, including component replacement

• Provide basic support for audio-visual (AV) and video conferencing (VC) equipment

• Create and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience managing tickets in an ITSM tool (e.g., ServiceNow)

• Strong hardware troubleshooting skills (PCs, laptops, peripherals, printers)

• Experience supporting the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)

• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot approved software applications

• Basic Active Directory tasks such as password resets and unlocking accounts

• Experience with SOE-based device deployment

• Assisting with user profile and data migration for device replacements
