Project Manager working with a leading FMCG client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

FinXL is seeking a Project Manager to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading FMCG client on a 8+ months contract in Sydney.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of reporting tools and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Create and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear commercial impact statements.
  • Bridge the gap between site-level networking and central reporting teams.
  • Lead business case writing to justify infrastructure spend for revenue visibility.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Project Management methodologies and reporting governance.
  • Background working in FMCG, retail or production environments.
  • Strong background in site infrastructure, networking, and technical RSA.
  • Ability to manage sensitive financial data and reporting cycles.
  • Experience linking infrastructure performance to BI tools and revenue optimization.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills across technical and executive levels.
  • High level of commercial acumen and understanding of trade spend and volume.
  • Maturity in handling complex projects within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Engagement Details

  • 8+ months contract with a leading FMCG client.
  • Hybrid working model with 2-3 days/ week in the office in Sydney CBD.
