Quality Engineer

Our client Large Banking and Financial Services is currently looking for a Quality engineer to work for their critical transformation project.

Term: 12 mths+

Location: Sydney CBD

Work Arrangements: 3 days per week in the office / 2 days WFH

Description:

Experienced Quality Engineer to lead the test automation strategy for a critical transformation program building new platform from the ground up using the latest cloud technologies. Your role will be to drive automation of complex testing processes across the platforms.

In this role, you will design and build an automated test framework solution and implement test cases to reduce manual test effort, increase testing coverage, and reduce testing turnaround times. You will work with software engineers and business analysts to refine test cases and build test automation plans.

Skills & Experience:

• experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks (e.g., Web-driver.IO, CodeceptJS, Cypress, Jest, Selenium and Jasmine)
• experience creating automated test frameworks, test plans, test scenarios, and develop repeatable application testing
• an understanding of software testing principles and able to drive test automation for different technology stacks
• experience in building automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines
• experience in automation of Web services using tools like REST Assured, Postman, Soap UI
• experience with either Python, Java or NodeJS.

It will be a bonus if you bring:

• experience with AWS and automating UI tests in SaaS platforms
• experience in automation of messaging technologies such as SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ or Kafka
• experience in performance testing with tools like JMeter.
