FinXL is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a key transformation engagement.

• Location: Sydney (hybrid )
• Type: Contract 6-12 months

Responsibilities

• Harden and operate Windows Server images hosting Python jobs and deployment tooling

• Implement Tidal job templates for scheduled ETL and deployment workflows

• Build staging and canary environments mirroring ASA/CSM and ACI/APIC behaviours

• Implement snapshot and rollback capabilities for test environments

• Secure service accounts, certificates, and credential storage for controller authentication

• Implement credential and certificate rotation policies

• Integrate logging, monitoring, and SIEM forwarding for deployment workflows

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong Windows Server administration and automation experience

• Experience running Python workloads in scheduled frameworks (e.g., Tidal)

• Experience securing and rotating credentials and certificate-based authentication for controller APIs

• Experience building and operating staging/canary environments that integrate with network appliances

• Knowledge of VMware for snapshot automation (desirable)

• Experience with SIEM integration (desirable)
