Leading Banking client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL is seeking a Test Lead to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a key transformation engagement.

• Lead and manage the end-to-end testing process for a large-scale infrastructure and network uplift program.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive test plan, including functional and non-functional testing.

• Drive Functional and Non-Functional Testing (Load, Performance, Fail Over/Disaster Recovery).

• Plan, coordinate, and manage testing activities for infrastructure components/services.

• Drive test governance to ensure quality standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to align testing with program milestones.

• Manage defect triage, risk assessments, and ensure test readiness across all environments.

• Extensive experience working on large programs as a Test Lead, ideally in infrastructure and migration.

• 12 years + of experience in planning and executing all aspects of Functional and Non-Functional Testing.

• Proven ability to deliver comprehensive test plans and ensure successful execution.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and coordinate testing activities.

• Knowledge of structured test management methodologies and adherence to internal frameworks.

• Expertise in identifying and managing testing risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.

• Extensive testing experience across various methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.

• Work on a major technology program and infrastructure uplift initiative.

• Fixed term engagement up to September 2026 with a Banking client.

• Focus on non-functional testing: performance, failover, and DR.
