Agile Delivery Manager

Summary:

The Agile Delivery Manager is accountable for the delivery of Data Office Projects and initiatives for various domains (e.g. Networks, Customer Success, Digital & Marketing, Sales, etc).

To be successful in application for Agile Delivery Manager one must have previous experience in an Agile environment in a delivery capacity as either a; Delivery Manager/Lead, Project Manager, Scrum Manager/Lead.

The role is tasked with meeting both key program/project delivery milestones along with financial and customer-centric KPIs. Strong financial and commercial management skills are required to ensure financial budgets are managed effectively and Project delivers to sponsor's expectations.

Duties:

One in the capacity of Agile Delivery Manager will be responsible for the following duties;

  • Manage programs/projects on behalf of the Data Office
  • Develop, manage and improve stakeholder relations - both internal and external
  • Use of project management artifacts to ensure effective outcomes such as:
    • Accuracy of forecasting
    • Delivery timelines and schedules are met
    • Adherence to quality standards
  • Lead in the identification of business impacts resulting from project implementation and proactively manage them
  • Support the Delivery teams with appropriate resource, reporting and financial management inputs
  • Resolving program/project/squad issues / impediments and disputes while maintaining constructive working relationships and achieving schedule commitments
  • Deliver financial submissions and updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders

Soft Skills:

  • The Agile Delivery Manager will be required to have extensive engagement with senior management and hence strong negotiation and influencing skills are a must.
  • Contract negotiations and managing contracts (fixed price and T&M based) is a vital skill to succeed in this role.
