We are seeking a Frontend Analyst Consultant for a full-stack engagement with one of our enterprise banking clients. This 12-month assignment will see you play a key role in a high-visibility digital program focused on enhancing customer-facing experiences.

Assignment Overview

• Location: Sydney-based | 2 days per week on-site (Parramatta)

• Assignment Length: 12 months

• Engagement Type: Contract via FinXL Professional Services

• Client: Major Enterprise Bank

• Workload: Full-stack (approx. 70% frontend / 30% backend)

Technical Environment

• React, JavaScript, TypeScript

• Node.js, GraphQL

• AWS

• CI/CD pipelines

• Azure Kubernetes (nice to have)

Assignment Scope

You will be engaged on a digital uplift initiative aimed at modernising customer interaction platforms across web and mobile channels. As a FinXL consultant, you will contribute to full-stack development activities, working closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to full-stack development, with a focus on React (frontend) and Node.js (backend)

• Interpret business requirements and translate them into functional solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an enterprise Agile delivery model

• Provide technical mentoring and participate in peer reviews

• Support end-to-end delivery across development, testing, and deployment phases

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a software engineer or frontend consultant

• Strong hands-on skills in React and supporting frontend technologies

• Proficient in backend service development using Node.js

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within enterprise squads

• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows
