We're seeking an experienced Telecommunications Business Analyst with a solid background in IT and OSS environments to drive the successful delivery of key initiatives for one of our major telecom clients. The role focuses on capturing and managing requirements across critical operational systems, including inventory, assurance, performance, workforce management, and B2B APIs.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document clear business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and development teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria in Agile delivery settings.
- Contribute to solution planning and end-to-end delivery across complex OSS platforms.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery ceremonies using Jira and Confluence.
- Assist with testing, business readiness, and change management activities.
- Promote continuous improvement in analysis practices, stakeholder engagement, and solution outcomes.
Knowledge & skills required:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in large-scale IT or telecommunications environments.
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder groups and technical landscapes.
- Solid knowledge of OSS functions such as inventory, service fulfilment, assurance, performance, workforce management, and B2B APIs.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools including Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working within cross-functional teams and delivering under Agile frameworks.
- Experience in telco product design and operations (desirable)
- Domain knowledge in at least one of the following: Fixed line (IP/Ethernet), voice or mobile networks, Unified Communications (UC), fixed wireless or satellite technologies (desirable)
