The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Colocation Coordinator for a 6-month engagement to support a key infrastructure project. This role is critical in managing the end-to-end logistics and processes for the installation and maintenance of equipment within data centre environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all colocation activities are executed efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with data centre providers and vendors to manage the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of physical equipment.

• Manage and track project timelines and milestones, ensuring all colocation tasks are completed within agreed-upon schedules.

• Ensure all necessary documentation, including access requests, configuration details, and compliance forms, are completed accurately and on time.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all colocation-related inquiries, providing regular status updates to project managers and key stakeholders.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues or risks related to colocation activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role, such as a Colocation Coordinator, Data Centre Coordinator, or Logistics Coordinator within a technology environment.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing complex logistics.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with data centre environments, rack-and-stack procedures, and associated processes.

• Proficiency in project management tools and documentation software.
