FinXL is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking / Wealth Management / Superannuation client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise automated reporting suites using Pentaho.

• Track migration milestones and operational performance through data analysis.

• Perform rigorous data validation to ensure integrity during system transitions.

• Reconcile data as it moves from legacy environments to the new target state.

• Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable reports for stakeholders.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence needs.

• Identify opportunities to enhance data workflows and reporting efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience

• Advanced proficiency in Pentaho for data integration and reporting is essential.

• Expert-level experience with Excel, specifically building complex Pivot Tables.

• Proven ability to manage and synthesise large, complex datasets.

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail for data reconciliation.

• Background in Accounting or Finance is highly desirable.

• Professional qualifications such as a CA or CPA will be looked upon favourably.

• Experience working within large-scale digital integration or migration projects.
