Our client, a large Sydney CBD based banking client, is looking for a DevOps Engineer.

About the role

• Deliver and optimize business solutions
• Utilise AWS technologies
• Script in Python Bash on Linux
• Handle production issues and change management
• Involved in automating processes and workflows
• Work closely with development team

Skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Expertise in AWS technologies like CloudFormation, EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, IAM and CloudWatch
• AWS certification preferred
• Proficient in a scripting languages such as Python or Bash on Linux
• Experience with system monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus
• Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bamboo and Bitbucket
• Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
