Opportunity for a Governance & Risk Consultant with a strong background in Essential 8 to help our client with their Cybersecurity assessment and level of security maturity.

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance & Risk Consultant who will be able to assist our client with their Cybersecurity assessment against the Australian Government's Essential 8 criteria to determine the level of security maturity.

The successful candidate will need the below skills and background and be prepared to travel and be onsite for part of the engagement.

Technical Expertise:

• Cybersecurity Certifications:
• Certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).
• Specific certifications related to the Essential 8 areas, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and others.
• Hands-On Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in GRC roles, focusing on cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing GRC frameworks and programs.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, compliance audits, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
