We are seeking a Python Developer to join an enterprise technology team delivering critical automation and monitoring capabilities across a large-scale environment. The role suits a Developer, Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer who enjoys working across backend Python services, monitoring platforms, and CI/CD tooling within a highly collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend Python services supporting automation and monitoring
- Contribute to enterprise monitoring platforms and alerting workflows
- Support CI/CD pipelines and source control practices across GitLab/GitHub
- Assist with infrastructure automation and environment configuration
- Operate across Linux-based systems for development, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver reliable solutions
- Participate in end-to-end SDLC activities, ensuring high-quality engineering outcomes
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong Python development experience (essential)
- Background in DevOps, automation, or platform engineering environments
- Strong Linux skills and comfort working in command-line and server environments
- Understanding of monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Icinga)
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative engineering workflows
- Solid problem-solving ability and strong communication skills
- Proactive, team-focused, and adaptable mindset
Nice to have:
- Experience with Salt Orchestration or similar automation tools
- Exposure to ServiceNow or enterprise alerting platforms
- Experience with APIs, integrations, or network-related monitoring
