We are currently seeking a Senior Linux Engineer to install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers- both physical and virtual

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Linux Engineer
• Experience in Red Hat Linux
• Experience with IBM Spectrum Protect (also known as IBM Tivoli Storage Manager / IBM Storage Protect) for enterprise-level backup and recovery of Linux systems.
• Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including versions 7, 8, and/or 9.
• Experience managing backup and recovery solutions using IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM / IBM Storage Protect) in a Linux environment.
• Experience in Bash or Python for automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools- Ansible, Puppet
• Experience in networking concepts - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP & server security principles.
• Experience with IBM storage hardware, such as IBM Tape Libraries - TS4500
• Experience in .SAN networking concepts - Brocade
• Experience in storage technologies like IBM Spectrum Scale, IBM SVC, NetApp, or Pure Storage.
• Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
