The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract starting in January 2026. In this pivotal role, you will be the key conduit between technical teams and government stakeholders for a high-profile project.

This is a technical BA role requiring deep domain expertise in large-scale telecommunications and infrastructure rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Engineering: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business and technical requirements for mobile network infrastructure.

• Project Lifecycle Support: Facilitate the end-to-end delivery process, from initial scoping and discovery through to implementation and transition to operations.

• Process Mapping: Develop and optimize business process flows and technical service designs to improve operational efficiency.

• Documentation: Produce high-quality artifacts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and User Stories, ensuring technical clarity for business audiences.

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior Domain Expertise (Mandatory): Extensive experience as a Business Analyst at a Senior level specifically within the Telecommunications and Infrastructure sectors.

• Infrastructure Background: Proven track record working on large-scale network deployments, mobile networks, or government-wide infrastructure projects.

• Consultative Approach: Ability to navigate complex government stakeholder environments and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Methodology: Strong proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall frameworks, with experience using tools like Jira and Confluence for requirement tracking.

• Location: This role is location-agnostic; however, candidates based in Melbourne are strongly preferred.

• Compliance: No security clearance is required for this engagement.
