FinXL IT is seeking a Senior Communications Consultant to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading insurance client on a key transformation engagement. This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for leading communications that drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of a major, multi-year technology overhaul (e.g., cloud migration, core system replacement, AI/data implementation). This individual will translate complex technical projects into clear, compelling messages across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for a multi-year technology transformation program.

• Serve as the primary communications partner to the Program Director, CIO, and other senior leaders.

• Define core narratives, key messages, and an editorial calendar for consistent program communication.

• Design and deploy change communications to drive employee awareness and adoption.

• Manage a variety of internal channels including dedicated portals, roadshows, and town halls.

• Simplify complex technical updates, milestones, and system changes into accessible business language.

• Create executive communications (presentations, talking points, and briefing materials) for the CIO.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in corporate communications.

• At least 3 years specifically managing communications for large-scale corporate change or technology programs.

• Expertise in Change Communications and communicating sensitive or technical information to diverse audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to distill technical information into clear, consistent, and strategic messaging.

• Proven ability to craft compelling narratives around the business value of technology investment.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is highly preferred.

• A self-starter who can confidently advise and influence senior technology and business executives.
