You will own the delivery of the strategic phase, encompassing payment category shifts, process re-engineering, large-scale training, and QA framework design.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Delivery: Lead the end-to-end strategic fix execution, managing budgets up to $10m.
Plan & Sequence: Define delivery plans and optimise sequencing across technology partners and business functions, navigating resource capacity and prioritisation constraints.
Stakeholder Excellence: Build effective relationships with Senior Executives, integrating inputs across the group to drive timely decision-making.
Integration: Seamlessly integrate release and implementation activities across diverse technology delivery partners and business units.
Governance & Risk: Ensure strict adherence to Three Lines of Accountability and Internal Risk Frameworks.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing delivery team to ensure project outcomes meet regulatory standards.
Requirements
Essential:
General Insurance Expertise: 7+ years of project delivery experience, with mandatory experience in General Insurance and Regulatory/Compliance programs.
Scale & Complexity: Proven track record leading projects with $10m+ budgets or major streams within multi-year transformations.
Financial Management: Advanced skills in cost management, budgeting, and forecasting.
Methodology: Deep knowledge of program management tools and the ability to adapt methodologies to complex, high-pressure scenarios.
Attributes: A "self-starter" mindset with the ability to resolve issues without close supervision and a background in professional services or consulting.
Technical Environment:
High-profile Business Transformation & Application Development.
Regulatory focus on Claims Handling as a Financial Service.
Complex integration with legacy and modern payment systems.
Eligibility
Work Rights: Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only (No sponsorship available).
