The Opportunity

We are seeking a SharePoint Migration & Security Consultant for a 6-month engagement to lead a critical data migration and security uplift project. This role requires a blend of technical architecture and hands-on migration skills, focusing on optimizing solutions for frontline worker environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Migration Execution: Plan, configure, and execute the technical migration of large volumes of file server data to SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  
• F3 License Optimisation: Design the target M365 architecture to specifically support and operate efficiently under Microsoft 365 F3 (Frontline) browser-only licenses.
  
• Purview (DLP) Implementation: Configure foundational Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies within SharePoint and OneDrive to protect data post-migration.
  
• Architecture & Governance: Design the target SharePoint Online structure (sites, libraries, metadata) and implement basic file governance and retention policies.
  
• Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical documentation, security configuration, and a clear user-training plan for the new environment.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• SharePoint & M365: Ideally, 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive architecture and governance.
  
• Migration: Proven track record in large-scale file server to SharePoint/OneDrive migration projects.
  
• Licensing: Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 license tiers, particularly the technical constraints and optimal use cases for F3 (Frontline) licenses.
  
• Security: Practical experience implementing Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
  
• Highly Desirable: Experience designing security controls against the ASD Essential Eight (E8) Maturity Model (Level 1 focus).
