Solutions Architect Leading Utilities client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Utilities client, to lead the architecture and design for a complex Mimecast to Microsoft 365 migration. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design for a complex Mimecast to Microsoft 365 migration

• Deliver high-level and detailed solution designs and technical migration strategies

• Manage transition of email security, continuity, and compliance to native toolsets

• Oversee implementation of Defender for Office 365, Purview, and Entra ID

• Produce technical runbooks, security design documentation, and connector guides

• Provide technical leadership and input into Requirements Traceability Matrices

• Engage with stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless service transition

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of architecture experience with exposure to cybersecurity initiatives

• Deep knowledge of mail flow, DNS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, TLS, and Exchange

• Proven experience migrating from Mimecast to Microsoft 365 native toolsets

• Expertise in Defender for Office 365, Purview, Entra ID, and compliance

• Strong background in compliance frameworks like legal hold and eDiscovery

• Familiarity with SIEM integration (Sumo Logic) and ITIL change management

• Excellent documentation skills and ability to manage complex engagements
