FinXL IT is seeking multiple experienced Insurance Business Analysts (across Senior/Lead Technical/Business Analysts) to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Insurance client on critical transformation and regulatory programs. We are looking for candidates with both strong functional expertise and those with specific technical BA experience.



Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end analysis across various insurance projects (policy, claims, distribution).

  • Technical Focus: Translate complex technical requirements and data models for development teams.

  • Functional Focus: Define and document business processes, future-state capabilities, and acceptance criteria.

  • Facilitate workshops and liaise with stakeholders at all levels, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

  • Ensure all deliverables align with the project life cycle and organisational standards.

  • Contribute to risk and regulatory initiatives, ensuring compliance requirements are met (desirable).



Key Skills & Experience

  • Essential: Proven experience as a Technical and/or Functional Business Analyst within the General Insurance sector (or broader Financial Services).

  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, for easy stakeholder liaison.

  • Strong understanding of the project life cycle and core Business Analyst responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with risk, compliance, or regulatory projects is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation tools.

  • Initial 12 months contract, with a view to extend, commencing 2026.
