Technical Governance & Compliance Architect

Leading Telco client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL is seeking a Technical Governance & Compliance Architect to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products comply with telco regulations (ACMA, MTCO), privacy, and ISO27001 controls.
  
• Embed risk controls, audit requirements, and service assurance governance into the lifecycle.
  
• Oversee CMDB governance, including naming standards, CI structures, and data lineage.
  
• Validate solution architecture for compliance, auditability, operational readiness, and data governance.
  
• Identify operational risks across the product lifecycle from design through to BAU.
  
• Partner with Risk, Legal, Cyber Security, and Operations to embed controls into BAU.
  
• Lead remediation initiatives for regulatory gaps across Managed Network Services and platforms.
  

Key Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in Networking, Security, Cloud, UC, or SD-WAN domains.
  
• Experience governing products in regulated environments (ACMA, MTCO, PSPF, Privacy).
  
• Strong understanding of ISO9001/20000 quality and ISO27001/NIST security frameworks.
  
• Demonstrated experience in CMDB governance, service modelling, and data integrity.
  
• Strong knowledge of ITIL service management and transition-to-operations processes.
  
• Ability to identify systemic risk, compliance gaps, and operational impacts.
  
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and governance workflows is desirable.
