The Role

FinXL IT is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Mining client on a key transformation engagement. This is a unique opportunity to join our dedicated Associate Program, designed to accelerate your career in data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing trial loads and running data quality checks

• Monitor pipeline performance during migration cycles

• Apply and verify simple cleansing recipes and remediation rules

• Document results for data quality reporting

• Support reconciliation activities by verifying data counts

• Ensure data integrity against source systems

• Maintain documentation for ETL scripts and transformation logic

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting data migration pipelines and ETL processes

• Ability to execute trial loads and run data quality checks

• Proficiency in verifying data counts and simple logic

• Experience applying data cleansing and remediation rules

• Strong documentation skills for ETL scripts and logic

• High attention to detail regarding data integrity

• Basic understanding of SQL and data engineering concepts
