The Role
FinXL IT is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Mining client on a key transformation engagement. This is a unique opportunity to join our dedicated Associate Program, designed to accelerate your career in data engineering.
Responsibilities
Assist in executing trial loads and running data quality checks
Monitor pipeline performance during migration cycles
Apply and verify simple cleansing recipes and remediation rules
Document results for data quality reporting
Support reconciliation activities by verifying data counts
Ensure data integrity against source systems
Maintain documentation for ETL scripts and transformation logic
Key Skills & Experience
Experience supporting data migration pipelines and ETL processes
Ability to execute trial loads and run data quality checks
Proficiency in verifying data counts and simple logic
Experience applying data cleansing and remediation rules
Strong documentation skills for ETL scripts and logic
High attention to detail regarding data integrity
Basic understanding of SQL and data engineering concepts
