We are seeking a mid-level AWS Data Engineer to join our team and work at one of our banking clients in Sydney CBD.

Responsibilities

• Create data product solutions
• Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines, cloud infrastructure, APIs and orchestration platforms
• Work hands-on on developing and supporting ETL frameworks and tools

Skills and experience

• 5-7 years of work experience in Data Engineering
• Good knowledge of Amazon Data Services like Redshift, Glue or RDS
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java or Scala programming
• Experience in CI/CD tools and infrastructure as a Code
• Experience with Data Architecture including data modelling
• Experience with big data technologies preferred
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
