Job description
FinXL IT is looking for an experienced Business Project Manager to support the setup and structure of a new project within a large financial services organisation. This role sits within the Insurance Technology domain and plays a critical role in laying the foundation for successful project delivery.
About the Role:
This is not a hands-on technical PM position. Instead, you will be focused on establishing the project structure, governance, stakeholder engagement, and setting up processes and planning frameworks that ensure project success. You will work closely with cross-functional business teams and senior stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment, and delivery readiness from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish project governance and frameworks
Organise and align stakeholders across the business
Manage stakeholder expectations and communication
Define processes, structure, and reporting for delivery
Provide high-level planning and execution oversight
About You:
Proven experience as a Business Project Manager in financial services or insurance
Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills
Skilled at project structuring, planning, and governance
Able to work independently in a fast-paced, complex environment
Based in Sydney or Brisbane
