Cloud Design Engineer (Azure & AWS)
Leading Telco client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

FinXL is seeking a Cloud Design Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client on a key transformation engagement. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Responsibilities

Architect and design public cloud solutions across AWS and Azure environments
Lead transformational change and execute cloud technology strategies
Design complex Cloud Services Templates and ensure security compliance
Manage cloud solution upgrades and service migrations to public clouds
Develop and maintain industry, security, and vendor standards
Deliver automated solutions and operational procedures for cloud teams
Provide technical leadership and consultancy to internal teams and stakeholders

Key Skills & Experience

5+ years of proven experience in AWS architecting and build automation
Solid experience in Azure Cloud Services architecting and build automation
10+ years as a solutions specialist designing complex multi-vendor use cases
Expertise in AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, and scripting (Python/Shell)
Strong background in developing IT roadmaps and delivering cloud projects
Experience with Agile methodology and full IT service lifecycles
Ability to engage senior leadership and influence cloud adoption strategies
